how we can create or replace view statement in spark sql in dataframe of databricks

create or replace view as

(select * from temp1)

create a DataFrame by reading from a source eg csv file etc

Use the createOrReplaceTempView method to create or replace the view

Create a DataFrame df = spark.read.csv("path/to/csv/file") Create or replace the view df.createOrReplaceTempView("temp1_view")

he DataFrame df is created by reading a CSV file. The createOrReplaceTempView method is then used to create or replace a temporary view named "temp1_view"

To add a select statement with a CTE in it, you can use the following syntax:

from pyspark.sql.functions import col # Create a DataFrame df = spark.read.csv("path/to/csv/file") # Create or replace the view df.createOrReplaceTempView("temp1_view") # Use a CTE in a select statement query = """ WITH temp_cte AS ( SELECT column1, column2 FROM temp1_view WHERE column1 > 10 ) SELECT * FROM temp_cte """ # Execute the query result_df = spark.sql(query) # Display the result result_df.show()
