I recently canceled my Azure subscription associated with account number [Your Account Number], and it is now marked as "Disabled." However, the commitment plan for Cognitive Services (Text-to-Speech Standard tier) is still visible in my work area.

I am concerned about potential charges being processed despite the cancellation. Could you please confirm that all services and the commitment plan have been fully canceled and that no further charges will be applied? Your prompt assistance in removing the visible commitment plan from my work area would also be appreciated.

Hello will fendrych, I believe you need to explicitly cancel your reservation for your Cognitive Services. Per this article, Microsoft recommends that you delete all resources and resource groups before cancelling your Azure subscription -- https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/cancel-azure-subscription. Also, keep in mind that your total cancelled commitment cannot exceed 50,000 USD in a 12-month rolling window. Hi will fendrych,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

You can cancel your Azure subscription in the Azure portal if you no longer need it.

Microsoft recommends that you take the following actions before you cancel your subscription:

Shut down your services. Go to the All-resources page, and stop any running virtual machines, applications, or other services.

Delete all resources and all resource groups.

To later manually delete a subscription, you must first delete all resources associated with the subscription.

After you cancel your final subscription, Azure closes your current billing cycle within 72 hours, or three calendar days. When the billing cycle ends, you receive your final invoice (bill) for the usage you incurred in the last billing cycle.

If you have any Azure resources associated with the subscription, they're shown in the cancellation process.

A subscription owner can navigate in the Azure portal to Subscriptions

In the Azure portal, navigate to Cost Management + Billing.

In the left menu, select either Subscriptions or Azure subscriptions, depending on which is available to you. If you have a support plan, it appears in the list.

Select the subscription that you want to cancel. At the top of page, select Cancel.

If you have any resources associated with the subscription, they're shown on the page. At the top of the page, select Cancel subscription.
