Agents/Servers Missing in Windows Server Operating System State

Hello Everyone!

Environment: SCOM 2022 (without any UR)

In the Administration > Device Management > Agent Managed > shows 80 agents

In the Administration > Operations Manager Products > Agents > shows 80 agents

In the Monitoring > Microsoft Windows Server > Windows Server State > shows 80 servers

In the Monitoring > Microsoft Windows Server > Windows Server Operating System State > shows only 15 servers

 

Resultantly, SCOM is not generating alerts for those 65 servers that are not appearing under the Windows Server Operating System State.

When I go to Monitors and try to configure an Override for a specific object under the class of that monitor, there also it shows only 15 servers...

Will be grateful for any leads.

    Hi,

    Open the Operations console and select Monitoring. Navigate to the Operations Manager\Agent Details\Agent Health State view. In Agent State from Health Service Watcher, select the agent you want to check connectivity for.

    For network connections, please check if all agents are on the same subnet, are there any firewall?

    If the issue still exists, I recommend you try to reinstall an agent of those 65 servers to see if this agent show under the Windows Server Operating System State.
