How to access the Business domain and Data product sections?

Hi

We've recently upgraded to the enterprise tier and started using the new portal.

However, we're missing some sections within the Data Catalog solution. The entire Data Management menu/section is missing, so we can't access Business domains or Data products (using a Purview admin user).

Here's what we're seeing:

We've granted the tenant-level data governance admin role to our Purview admin user, but we're still unable to access the Data Catalog "Roles and permissions" page.

We've followed all of the instructions described in the link below without any success:

Has anyone encountered this before? Some assistance or guidance would be appreciated.

@Chad Weber - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

To see business domains, a user needs data catalog reader role.

The Data catalog reader role is intended to give users the ability to either discover data, approve access to data, or review the current state of data health. This usually would be all full time employees at the company but would probably exclude guests or other partners that would not normally get access to internal data sources.

    How to access business domains?

    1. In the Microsoft Purview portal, open the data catalog and select the Data management drop-down.
    2. Select Business domains.
    3. Here you'll see a list of all the business domains in your organization.
    4. You can filter the business domains by keyword.
    5. Select a business domain to see its details, roles, aggregate data quality score, health actions, associated data products, glossary terms, OKRs, and critical data.
