    Hello @Kompelly, Sathish (Azure),

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

It this question related to any migration steps towards another service than Time Series Insights?

I ask this because Time Series Insight will be deprecated next week, July 7, 2024.

It's recommended to first redirect any existing injection towards Azure Data Explorer (or Microsoft Fabric KQL database).

This will be your raw data ingest. and it's saved in the new database.

You als want to make a backup of the (gen2) storage account data. These parquet files can be copied using the 'azcopy' tool. Copy them to a new or unused storage account.

Be aware you need to make a final copy of all data in the files again once you stop the original TSI ingest or after Microsoft has stopped the TSI ingest (by deprecating the TSI environment).

Notice: It recommended to have elevated blob storage right for both storage accounts for the AZCopy tool.

Once you have both the parquet files and the streaming (ADX) ingest, you have to merge them both in a new table with both formats being transformed. You probably need to consult the TSI Types/Instances/Hierarchy so make a copy of the JSON files as long as you still have access to TSI.

See also these documented migration steps.
