Hello Maria , Thanks for your question By default, the provisioning service runs every 40 minutes. Any changes in Workday, such as the modification of an email field, will be detected and updated in the next cycle, typically within 40 minutes after the change You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you Regards, Abiola

Hi all,

I have a question regarding Tutorial: Configure Workday writeback in Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn

Consider the following scenario:

User on workday has their email field empty
Provisioning is set up and run and user's email field gets populated in workday
User's email gets manually removed or changed in Workday

My question is how long after the changes in Workday have been made will the provisioning service try to update the email again if at all?

I did find this information however in the sandbox workday environment it did not get updated after longer than 40 minutes. It still remained empty and there were no further attempts in the logs to update it
