Create Event Grid Event Subscription : Publisher Notification Error

Additionally, if you’re still facing issues, it’s worth checking if the fix for this issue has been deployed to your region. The fix was deployed to some regions, including “Canada central” and “West central US,” but it’s expected to be available in all regions soon2.

Also my EventGrid is created with EventGridSchema deliver type. So should be supported. Also if i create EventGrid with the same configuration but changing the Scope type to Susbcription, it will works. So it seems something related with Scope Type = Management Group.

@Fábio Santos Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you are facing an authorization issue with Microsoft Management Groups while creating an Event Grid event subscription. Based on the error message and my investigation, it seems like Management group needs extra permission to perform any deployment operation at MG level.

I tried reproducing the issue at my end and it failed with the same error. To resolve this issue, you can follow the steps mentioned in the following documentation to elevate access to manage all Azure subscriptions and management groups:

Once all the steps are done, you should be able to create an Event Grid event subscription without any issues. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
