How to change share settings of all documents in SharePoint site at once?

I am working on a SharePoint site and I have ran into an issue where colleagues trying to review my work are unable to see certain content, like pdfs or images I have placed on the site. I found out that for whatever reason, I have to go and change the share settings on each and every single document that I put on the site. This is, as you imagine, very time consuming. Rather than going one-by-one telling SharePoint to please let others see what i'm putting on the site, is there a way to do just a blanket permission for all content & images? It is bizarre to have to give permission for every individual document when the folks i'm trying to share the site with are already registered users with the site. Is there another way of adding documents/images to avoid having to require "sharing" each and every single document? Thanks!

    Hi @Gus ,

Thank you for posting in this community.

To change the share settings of all content in a SharePoint site at once, you can share a specific sharepoint site directly to registered users, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to the site and select “Settings” (gear icon) and then “Site Permissions.”
    • "Advanced permissions settings.”
    • "Grant permissions"

    User's image

    • Enter the names of the users you want to grant access to and select their level of control (Read, Edit, Full Control).
