Quota Increases

I'm in the process of migrating all on-prem VMs from VMware hosts to Azure. Very small environment with fewer than 10 VMs with ADDS, SQL, terminal server and an application server. My problem is that we've reached the assigned quota limits for the larger VM types with 8 or 16 core vCPUs and 64Gb of RAM. For these type VMs, the limit was set to 0 and I've requested an increase to 16 or 32 vCPUs and there's a few types of D and E class VMs that meet these requirements. My problem is that Azure support keeps denying my quota increases or simply ignores them. For one request they replied back and said the high demand in US East was the limit. While I'd like to have all of my company in the same region, I'm fine using different US-based regions.

Does anyone have a method to get quotas increased?

Thanks for any suggestions or input.

    Hello, @Ken Sheppard !

How do I increase my vCPU quota? What if support keeps denying my quota requests?

You can increase adjustable quotas from the Azure portal:

    https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/quotas/per-vm-quota-requests#request-an-increase-for-adjustable-quotas

If the quota isn't available, then you'll need to create a support request:

    https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/quotas/per-vm-quota-requests#request-an-increase-when-a-quota-isnt-available

If you continue to run into denied quota requests, the best option is to make adjustments either to the region in which you are making the request or to try a different VM SKU that may have more availability.
