Hello,

I have a pipeline project that required restoring a MySQL backup file into Azure server, then moving it to SQL Server on Azure, the backup file will be retrieved nightly and automated. We are trying to see if the cost will be higher than a consulting company, we can also schedule it weekly rather than nightly.

I took a look at the cost estimate calculator but I am not familiar with the terminology. So we are looking at two servers on Azure, one for MySQL and another to our data warehouse on SQL Azure, then the pipeline on Azure ADF that will be moving 80gb of data every day.

    So it depends on the data movement and the activities used across.

    Restoring the backup into Azure MYSQL would not be via ADF (but manual or powershell)

    The cost aspect would be w.r.t copying the data from MySQL into data warehouse
