Problem with Authentication method: Microsoft Entra user account

When I switch in the storage browser from Authentication method: Access key to Authentication method: Microsoft Entra user account I get the error message "You do not have permissions to list the data using your user account with Microsoft Entra ID. Click to learn more about authenticating with Microsoft Entra ID. This request is not authorized to perform this operation using this permission."

How do I solve this?

    Hello Stephen Selwyn,

    Thanks for your question.

    This means your current Microsoft Entra user account doesnt have permissions to view storage data.

    To resolve:

    1. Navigate to your Storage Account in the Azure portal.
    2. Go to Access Control (IAM) and assign the user required least privileged role. Would recommend Storage Blob Data Contributor
