Will cross-tenant migration for applications be supported soon?

I have a couple of applications that aren't registered in my main tenant. One was registered many years ago from a personal Microsoft account (which is no longer supported), and the other is in a tenant that's about to be deprovisioned due to a merger.

I'd like to maintain both of these applications, but I can't just recreate them in my main tenant. Doing that would generate new application IDs, but more importantly, it would require all the existing users of my applications to reconsent to the permissions, which is not ideal.

I took a look at the metadata for Microsoft Graph beta and found a few endpoints in the directory service that seemed interesting: initiateMigration, migrateApplication, abortMigration, and completeMigration. When I tried calling them, I got the error: Application migration is not available yet.

The feature would be really helpful for me in terms of keeping these applications alive. Would someone from Microsoft be able to confirm whether or not this feature is being worked on, and if so, if there's a timeline for when it might be released?
