How to remove an account from the MS Authenticator that's no longer valid?

I had a few work related accounts on my Microsoft Authenticator, tho I no longer work for those company I would like to have them removed. However those email accounts are no longer valid therefore I cannot log in to those account and remove it through the Settings page under the account. Is there any other way of removing those greyed out accounts? Kindy silly that there is no easy visible option to remove accounts (and he only steps available on the net is to find the account, login to it, go to settings then remove from there. Which is not gonna work for me)

We have options to remove the Microsoft authenticator account in both IOS and Android devices.

If it is not working then you can simply follow these steps.

Uninstall and Reinstall (as a last resort):

Uninstall the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

This will remove all accounts stored in the app, so you’ll need to set up any active accounts again.

Clear App Data:

Go to your device’s Settings.

Navigate to Apps or Application Manager.

Find the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Select Storage, then choose Clear Data and Clear Cache.

Note: This will remove all data from the app, so ensure you have necessary backup codes for any other accounts still in use.
