Just 4 hours before wifi was connected perfectly but suddenly after a moment wifi icon was missing from network and internet settings and pc disconnected from wifi. I tried troubleshooting. And when I click network and internet settings, settings app closes itself so I am unable to see wifi status and wifi icon is not present. Another thing is that my action center is also not opening. And by the way it's windows 10. And I cannot even check for updates as I am unable to connect to wifi. I hope I get the solution as fast as possible.

Check with Device Manager, and confirm if WiFi driver is installed there and working properly?

    Hello,

Based on your description, it seems like you're encountering multiple issues with your Windows 10 system, specifically related to network connectivity and the Settings app. Here are some potential solutions to address these problems:

WiFi Icon Missing and Disconnection from WiFi:

Since the WiFi icon has reappeared and your PC is now connected to WiFi, it suggests that the issue may have been temporary or related to a software glitch. However, to prevent future occurrences, you can try updating your network drivers or running the built-in Windows network troubleshooter.

    Settings App Closing Itself:

This could be due to a corrupted file or a bug in the Settings app. You can try restarting your PC to see if the problem persists. If it does, consider creating a new user account to check if the issue is specific to your user profile.

Additionally, running the Windows Update might help if there are any pending updates for the Settings app or related components.

    Action Center Not Opening:

The Action Center may be disabled by certain policies or settings. You can try to enable it through the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) if you have administrative privileges.

Another potential fix is to restart the Windows Explorer process, which sometimes resolves issues with system trays and notification areas.

If these methods don't work, consider checking for any recent changes to your system, such as new software installations or updates, that might have caused a conflict.

Unable to Check for Updates Due to No WiFi Connection:

Since your WiFi is now working, you should be able to check for updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click "Check for updates."

If you encounter any issues, try restarting your router or using a wired connection to ensure a stable internet connection for updating.
