Doing the AZ-900 Certification right now, and it tells me to create a virtual computer in azure. When I try to do this, it says I can not do this because there are no Subscriptions available in Microsoft Learn.

What can I do?

    Hi Benjamin Körnig,

Let's troubleshoot your issue with creating a VM in Azure. Here are a few steps to help identify and resolve the problem:

    1. Check Subscription Limits and Quotas
    • Resource Limits: Ensure your Azure subscription has available quota for creating a new VM. Check the usage and quotas for the region you are trying to create the VM in.
      • Navigate to Azure Portal > Subscriptions > Your Subscription > Usage + quotas.
      • Resource Group Limits: Ensure that the resource group you're using has not exceeded its limits.
    1. Check Permissions
    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to create a VM in the selected subscription and resource group.
      • Verify your role assignments in Azure Portal > Subscriptions > Your Subscription > Access control (IAM).
        • Check if you have roles like Contributor or Virtual Machine Contributor.
    1. Check Resource Availability in Region
    • Make sure the region you are trying to deploy the VM in has the necessary resources available.
      • Some regions may have limited availability for certain VM sizes.
    1. Verify VM Configuration
    • Ensure the VM configuration (size, OS, etc.) is correct and supported in the selected region.
    • Check if the selected VM size is available in the chosen region.
    1. Check Subscription Status
    • Verify that your Azure subscription is active and not in a disabled or read-only state.
    1. Review Error Messages
    • If you're encountering specific error messages, review them for more detailed information.
    • Look for specific error codes or messages that can give more context about the issue.
    1. Azure Status
    • Check the Azure Status page to ensure there are no ongoing issues or outages in the region you are trying to deploy the VM.
    1. Try Different Region
    • If possible, try creating the VM in a different region to see if the issue is region-specific.
    1. Azure Support
    • If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider opening a support ticket with Azure Support for further assistance.

If you can provide more details about any specific error messages or issues you're encountering, I can offer more targeted assistance.Let's troubleshoot your issue with creating a VM in Azure. Here are a few steps to help identify and resolve the problem:
