Created VM for domian database server and win10 machine,

Address space '10.0.0.0/16' overlaps with address space '10.0.0.0/16' of virtual network 'sccmtest-vnet'. Virtual networks with overlapping address space cannot be peered. If you intend to peer these virtual networks, change address space '10.0.0.0/16'.

while peering it is throwing above error

Were you able to peer the two Virtual Networks now?

I see you have mentioned "old one 10.0.0.0/16 doesn't get deleted and still gives same error."

Can you please elaborate on what you mean?

If this is a new set up,

I would suggest you delete all the VNETs and create two new VNETs of address ranges "10.0.0.0/16" and "10.1.0.0/16" and Peer them together

please share the address range of the 2 VNETs

Hi @Govinda Vaidhyam ,

it looks like you have to different Azure Virtual Networks (vNets) with the same IP address range (10.0.0.0/16)?

If so you can't peer these two vNets because of the "overlapping" IP address range. The address ranges are required to be different. For instance 10.0.0.0/16 and 10.1.0.0/16.

Thanks for your response, yes i understood it needs to be different but once i change it to 10.1.0.0/16. the old one 10.0.0.0/16 doesn't get deleted and still gives same error.

Hi @Govinda Vaidhyam ,

if you have 2 vNets left, one with IP address range 10.0.0.0/16 and one with 10.1.0.0/16 there should be no overlapping of the IP address ranges.

Maybe it's possible to provide screenshots of the vNet configuration (including the subnet configuration of each vNet)?
