Office 365 delegated addresses in "From" field aren't recorded

I have a main company email account and I also have several secondary accounts of which I have delegated full control and sending.

In my Outlook (Home&Business 2021) I see delegated boxes regularly (by company setting, delegated boxes are not displayed by default in Outlook, but must be added from the advanced settings of the main account). When I have to send from one of these addresses, I have to manually enter the address every time because Outlook, even though I add the address by clicking on the "From:" field and choosing "add another email address", makes me use it for that I send it, but it doesn't keep it for me. If you need to send another email, I have to repeat the procedure, because that address never appears in the drop-down box of the "From:" field.

What could this behavior depend on?

    Hi @Christian Bisti ,

    According to my test, when I click “Other Email Address…” and type in a shared mailbox address, it will be saved in the “From” drop-down list.

    It is recommended that you delete the old profile and create a new to see if it can be fixed: Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles, delete the old profile, and create a new, then re-connect your account.

    If above doesn't help, as a workaround you can try adding the shared mailbox manually. Open Outlook, go to File > Add Account, enter the name and email address but leave the passwords blank
