Application crashes when open file dialog appears and a folder is selected

Recently these applications crash when file dialog appears to load or save files:
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- ST Cube Programmer
Both applications have been installed not in the last few weeks.
I'm running Windows 11 on an Acer Aspire 3.
Any idea?

2024-07-08T15:20:19.0166667+00:00 As suggested from a post on Microsoft Community i disabled all 3rd party services from msconfig, rebooted but still the issue persists.
