I appreciate the community's help in finding out how to integrate Outlook and Azure DevOps so that each time I'm tagged on an item (in Azure DevOps) I'll receive an email about that. To explain my request I'll compare it to working with Jira. When opening a ticket/commenting on a ticket or being tagged in a ticket via Jira an email is sent. Each time that someone comments on this ticket all the users who commented on the same item will be notified via email, and this is why it is easy to follow all updates on work items. Is it possible to do the same on Outlook + Azure DevOps?
When trying to configure all kinds of notifications via Azure DevOps user settings >> notifications, there are only a few cases that are not relevant.

Hi Michael,
You can add custom notification:
Go to Notifications > + New subscription > Work > Work item is changed > Select Deliver to "Custom email address"
In the Filter criteria you can select Filter Comments
Example highlighted.

Can you please explain what is the meaning of "Work item is changed**"**? Does it refer only to items I created? What about tickets I was tagged at for the first time and were not created by me?
I checked again and the option you suggested doesn't appear on the option list. the closest there is is "a work item I created is changed", but it limits me to receive notifications only for items I created not for items someone else tagged me in

You can add more criteria, such as Changed by, Assigned To, etc.
Select a specific project or all.
Just have a look which will suit all your cases or create multiple of them.

Thanks again @Aleksandr Kolesnikov but it seems that I'm still missing something. Even on the image that you added to your new comment, the description shows "a work item is changed" but as can be seen on the attached image I don't have this option on the dropdown menu. Can you tell what is the source of this different?

According to Permissions for notifications, you do not have permission to set up notifications for a team or entire project.
