Yes, if I log in as an admin, I can fix the account but when I revert to my standard login, the error is still there, as in your account is out of date and needs fixing.

Are no articles coming up on the link you provided? https://www.windowscentral.com/how-access-files

I have attempted to delete one of the email accounts and reinstall it on the accounts page. Now, unfortunately, I can not even re-add it back on on the laptop under the standard user even while using the Windows authenticator app on my phone.

This error is showing...

Oops – something went wrong

Due to an unexpected error, we can't sign this account into your other apps. Don't worry, we will sign you into this app. You can fix this by going to Settings > Accounts > Your info.

I do this again as a standard user, and it keeps going back in a loop saying your account is out of date; click next, password or authenticator and then the error above and round and round we go.

Also I can not login into my One Drive to sync my laptop since this issue started?

This is very frustrating now day 4?

One affected is called natsnp which has a Standard user (no admin rights). When I go into my other user name Nat (which has admin rights), to give natsnp admin rights to resolve the issue with the emails and One drive, the user has disappeared. I may have removed some names and passwords that I believed were redundant and made no sense recently regarding online logins. Could this be the reason why. I accidentally deleted the login account for natsnp? however, on my laptop, I can still login as user natsnp  but emails and one-drive are affected and need fixing. Can you advise me on how to reinstate the user natsnp so it appears again under other users as a standard user?

    Hi Info,

Thanks for your post. Before moving on, to narrow the issue, can you please verify if you encounter the error that ‘Your account settings are out-of-date in Mail or Calendar for Windows 10.’ If so, please make sure your password and certificate have no problem.

Here is the troubleshooting step guide.

    1. Choose Settings > Manage Accounts.
    2. Choose the account that's out of date to display the account settings dialog.
    3. Choose Change mailbox sync settings > Advanced mailbox settings. You may have to scroll down in the dialog to see Advanced mailbox settings.
    4. Check the boxes for Require SSL for incoming email and Require SSL for outgoing email and then choose Done > Save.
