Access to Azure Active Directory Cancelled

As I understand your Aure Subscription is cancelled and you65 want to know if this happens will you lose your Azure AD and Office 365 as well.

No, even if subscription is cancelled and if you have Office 365 licenses, you will still have access to Azure AD and Office 365.

Azure and Azure AD (Now called as Microsoft Entra ID) are little different.

When you create any users, groups, applications, SPN's etc, they all get created in Azure AD.

But in Azure you can create resources like, VM's, storage accounts etc.

If your subscription is cancelled, then you will not be able to create these resources anymore. But creating objects in Azure AD or Office 365 will still be active as you have office 365 licenses.

Recently, Azure AD (Entra ID) was separated from Azure and was given a new URL for Azure AD.

Currently, you can access Azure AD (Entra ID) via https://portal.azure.com/ and also through URL https://entra.microsoft.com/.

Azure AD is just an Identity provider (authenticator platform) and Office 365 is an application within Azure AD. Azure AD authentication platform which authenticates users who are access office 365 applications.
