Configure MFA with Conditional Access policies or Authentication Methods?

I moved from the legacy MFA policies in Entra ID to enforcing MFA with Conditional Access Policies. Can I keep using the conditional access policies or should I move to Authentication methods as Microsoft keeps reminding me?

Authentication methods seems a bit limited as I can't use location or resources to determine if MFA should be used. Conditional Access is working fine, but I am worried Microsoft might suddenly switch to Authentication methods which I did not configure.

Hello Nathan-2825, yes, the Authentication methods might seem to be lacking a bit but at this point, you can stick with Conditional Access Policies if they meet your requirements. Microsoft won't suddenly switch you to Authentication Methods without prior notice and giving your time.
