Hello @Amanpreet Kaur Thank you for contacting us through Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

If you have accidentally signed up for a monthly Azure Pay-As-You-Go subscription and you don't need it, you can cancel the subscription to avoid any further charges.

To cancel your Azure Pay-As-You-Go subscription, you can follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com/.
    2. Click on "Cost Management + Billing" in the left-hand menu.
    3. Click on "Subscriptions" and select the Pay-As-You-Go subscription that you want to cancel.
    4. Click on "Cancel subscription" and follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.

Once you have cancelled your Pay-As-You-Go subscription, you will not be charged for any usage beyond the current billing period. However, please note that if you have any outstanding charges on your account, you will need to pay them before you can close your subscription.

If you have been charged for usage that you did not intend to use, you can contact Azure support to request a refund. You can submit a support request through the Azure portal.

Please create a New Support Request in the portal and choose Issue type: Billing Problem type: Refund request, then click Next. Once it shows suggested solutions, DO NOT CLICK the Request a refund button, click Return to support request in upper left corner as shown below:

azure support request Return to support request

Click Next, continue filling out information, make sure your email/phone are correct, and finish creating the case.

The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.

FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
