What do I need to do so that I won't be charged after I deleted a virtual machine?

Hello,

How do you delete the disk drive and the public IP associated with an VM that you have already deleted? Is this really necessary or just deleting the VM will be enough?

I'm trying to avoid charges for unused services.

Any help will be very much appreciated!

    Hi Marcos,

If there are no other resources in the resource group that you want to keep the easiest way is to delete the resource group. In the portal, navigate to the resource group where the VM used to exist in, click Delete resource group button, enter the resource group name in the box to confirm, and click Delete. This will delete the managed disk(s), public IP addresses, etc., that are in the resource group.

It may take several minutes to delete the resource group. Make sure you check the notification in the upper right corner to make sure it was deleted successfully.

    Thanks.
