Pause and Resume Azure Ai Continuous Speech to Text Recognition

Hi,

I'm trying figurin' out how to pause the speech recognition api, while is in its continuous mode.

Pretty much same situation described here:

Unfortunately, discussion was deadlinked, so I ask here, is there a way to do that?

Or is it completely wrong approach?

Speech Recognition stop and start aren't a solution since it takes ages....
