We are not seeing ARP entries from either end of our Azure private peering over TPG.

Azure Private peering and express links are all setup and are active and ready. The link is supplied by TPG and they claim link is UP and ready. However, when we plug any switch or router into our end with the corresponding IP addresses, we get no ARP entries for mac addresses at either end of the EXPRESSROUTE circuit. The ports are UP/UP but no layer 2 connectivity between us and Microsoft.

Microsoft say TPG issue, TPG say client issue. We are getting no where.

Any device plugged in to our ent with the correct IP address on the correct Vlan should propagate layer 2 mac addresses that should be seen by azure, but it is not. Where could the fault be?

    @Nathan WYNANDS ,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    From your verbatim, it appears you already have an open support ticket with Microsoft.

    I would suggest you continue to work with them as internal logs are necessary for troubleshooting such issues, which can only be accessed by Support Engineers.

    Cheers,

    Kapil
