Teams can't schedule meeting.....

Hello Teams admin here,

My Microsoft 365 subscription is the Family plan. I would like to schedule a meeting on Teams. But the "add required attendees" bar is missing...where I used to put attendees' email addresses there before. A pop-up message showed: Inviting meeting attendees isn't available.

Please see the images attached. I tried to uninstall it and restart the app, but it's not working.

I have encountered the same issue. Is Microsoft Teams working on a fix? If so, is there an estimated time for the issue to be resolved? Hoping by Monday, July 22.

I tried reopening my Teams as you suggested, but I still couldn't find the bar to invite attendees.

I have been dealing with this very same problem since last week. There's no clue about how to add attendees. It has only been possible to add them from Outlook calendar. No reasons why. I can't even re-schedule meetings. It says "I have to keep editing..." What?

I hope you can find any sollution ASAP.

Based on your case description, you cannot add required attendees when creating a meeting.

According to our test, we can see the "Add required attendees" or "Add optional attendees" box option when scheduling a meeting in the calendar. Please make sure your Teams client is up to date.

In addition, please try to log in to the Teams web client and create a meeting to see if this problem also occurs. During this period, please invite others to the meeting through the meeting link.

If you still have issues, please report the issue in the Teams client here.

Or you can log in to the M365 admin center and report the problem. Teams will investigate the problem and deploy a solution after receiving the feedback.

I am experiencing the same problem, and so is my father, who lives in another country. I had the option to add invitees to meetings last week, and from one day to the next, it disappeared.

Another issue: I have two Microsoft accounts: my personal one and an Enterprise account linked to an email for my former Go Daddy website. On the app, I am logged in with my personal account.

I tried logging into the Teams web client as suggested, but it's automatically linked to my enterprise account. When I click on Use a different account, to log in with my personal Microsoft account, it keeps taking me back to the login page, which automatically logs me in again with the enterprise account without giving me the option to enter any other login information. With the enterprise account, it offers me a free trial, if I click Start, it tells me my admin needs to sign up for Teams. I'm just going around in circles and I can't, in any way, add any attendees, in the app or using the web (because I can't even log in with the web).

Hi @Nico Zhao

When using Teams for personal use on desktop or web, you are experiencing an issue where you cannot schedule meetings for personal use. Teams is already checking this issue.

It is recommended that once you schedule a meeting in Teams, you can invite participants by accessing the selected calendar outside of the Teams application and including the attendees in that calendar event.

If you are not logged into Teams with a personal Outlook or Hotmail account, you may need to manually create a calendar event in your preferred calendar application and copy the meeting link from the meeting in Teams.
