Introduction: Failed attempts to get help

After so many wasted hours trying to somehow communicate with Azure staff, I am frustrated because it is just plain impossible:

  • Chat support is purely for sales (as they themselves state). Despite their good will, they are limited in what they can do for you.
  • Phone support is an AI that only serves to make you lose your patience. Impossible to talk to a human.
  • Ticket request creation is a joke, it always ends up giving you useless advice and does not allow you to create a request.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME HOW TO GET HELP OR REPORT A PROBLEM IN AZURE? This is a big joke.
I already have another ticket open and I know I am not going to get immediate help for my problem.

Now yes: the detail of my problem

Hoping that some Microsoft staff will see my request, I will explain my problem:

I have started using an instance of Azure Container Registry. It indicates that there is a 12 month trial period for the Standard plan (100 GB storage and 10 webhooks, https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/free-services)

I started with the Basic plan, for which I was charged for a few days. Then I moved to the Standard plan and the charges stopped (as promised), but then on the 5th day the charges came back. I am not only using 12 Gb of the 100, and I am not using webhooks, so I understand this charges are a mistake. Here you can see the list of consumptions:

It is interesting to see how in the cost detail you can see how it goes from “Free” to charged:User's image

Another interesting detail is that the “Top free services by use” panel disappeared, the same day the charges started appearing. https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/check-free-service-usage

Final comments

This being the case, there is no choice but to eliminate the resource and pay for the charges generated. In this case it is only a few dollars, but what is annoying is not being able to report it to anyone, and receiving surprise charges that were promised as “free”.

I understand that these free periods are meant to test the services, and what we are afraid of is that all the other free services we are using will suddenly start being charged.

If at any time anyone wants to help me, I'll be here.
