I know that Enterprize-grade Edge for Static Web Apps is “powered by Azure Front Door”.

Is manual configuration of an AFD Origin using a Private-Link enabled SWA anywhere on any roadmap?

    @Jason Cooper ,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    When you enable Private Link to your origin in Azure Front Door Premium, Front Door creates a private endpoint on your behalf from an Azure Front Door managed regional private network.

    When you say, "manual configuration of an AFD Origin"

    • I take it that you have an existing Private EndPoint for this PaaS Service VNET
      • This would be customer managed VNET
    • And you would like to know if we can use such Private EndPoints as the Origin

    I doubt this would be in the roadmap.

    Nevertheless, I shall check this internally and get back to you shortly

    Cheers,

    Kapil
