In the left pane of Event Viewer, double click/tap on Windows Logs to expand it, click on System to select it, then right click on System, and click/tap on Filter Current Log.

Check possibly for a 6008, 6006, 1074, or 41 event. Event ID 6008 is for a forced shutdown. Something is forcing your computer to shutdown. While 6006 is a clean shutdown.

for 41, See: Advanced troubleshooting for Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first"

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Virtual machine randomly shutdown is difficult to find out the cause reason.

Here have a way to check is the issue with the server or virtual machine

You can back up this Virtual Machine to lunch at a new server to see if the same issue will happen in the new server, If it happen. Then we know that where we should check first

if issue not appear, then its from server, you can try to reinstall the virtual application and then restore the machine

if issue is appear, then the issue is with the client,

    1. we can check the shutdown time to see if it have any connection.
    2. check the first time shut down time. try to find what action did we done before it.

if still don't have any progress. you can try to reboot the virtual machine and set a auto back up plan to can roll back in case.

    Hope the answer is helpful.

    Best regards
