Azure storage account DestinationHostUnreachable error

Attempted to create a file share, with default options.

Very similar to this unanswered question posted here: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/answers/questions/1279796/how-to-mount-azure-file-share-to-windows-11-laptop

I have deleted and re-created the resource group 3 times with simpler names. Same thing each time.

As far as I know if I cannot even ping the ip address, it isn't a port issue. Testing with telnet to the port returns the same error. Any ideas?

    Issue: Azure storage account DestinationHostUnreachable error

    Solution: Customer shared - 'This is expected when your ISP blocks port 445.' Issue is resolved.

    Disregard. This is indeed what you get when your ISP blocks port 445.
