In Windows 11, Microsoft Edge is tightly integrated into the operating system, making it difficult to uninstall using traditional methods.Since Edge is considered a core part of the system, Microsoft has made it challenging to remove. However, you can disable or hide it effectively without third-party software, although a complete uninstallation isn't officially supported.
How Uninstall Edge on Windows 11 24h2?
Tried the old ways to uninstall Edge on WIndows 11 24h2. They include setup.exe --uninstall, etc.
Unsuccessful. Would someone recommend a method that does not include some 3rd party software to uninstall Edge?

Thanks for your post. Based on my research, you can uninstall the Edge by the following way.
- Press Windows Key + R and type regedit
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft Edge
- Go to NoRemove and change the value to 0
- Open the control panel, go to programs and features and select uninstall a program. Click the Edge and select Uninstall.
Best Regards,
Ian Xue
