I have progressed to the second unit: Fundamentals of Machine Learning and I am now at the stage where I am required to complete an exercise. Then you’ll be able to use Azure Machine Learning studio to work with the resources in your workspace. Tip : If you already have an Azure Machine Learning workspace, you can use that and skip to the next task. Sign into the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com using your Microsoft credentials. Select + Create a resource , search for Machine Learning , and create a new Azure Machine Learning resource with the following settings: Subscription : Your Azure subscription . Resource group : Create or select a resource group . Name : Enter a unique name for your workspace . Region : Select the closest geographical region . Storage account : Note the default new storage account that will be created for your workspace . Key vault : Note the default new key vault that will be created for your workspace . Application insights : Note the default new application insights resource that will be created for your workspace . Container registry : None ( one will be created automatically the first time you deploy a model to a container ). Select Review + create , then select Create . Wait for your workspace to be created (it can take a few minutes), and then go to the deployed resource. When I follow these steps and create Review+Create, I keep getting the following error: Error Resource 'Nureyin' was disallowed by policy. (Code: RequestDisallowedByPolicy) I have no idea how to get around it and the person in my organization, who could offer advise has left. If the administrator who could help has left, reach out to the support team or the new administrator in charge.

Create a Support Request: If you're unable to resolve the issue through the above steps, consider submitting a support request through the Azure portal. Azure support can provide guidance on how to proceed.

Since this issue is related to Azure policies, your organization's Azure administrators are best positioned to assist you in resolving it.

With regards to identifying the policy, the error message I put in the initial post is all the information that is given, unfortunately.

I think it might be an issue with the resource from the fiddling around and checking I did, but there are no other options than to create a new resource and I do not know what else to do.

I will try to reach out to our Azure administrators - though I am not sure if we have one or not.I'd like to create a support request, but it doesn't give me any other option apart from posting to this forum, when I click on Create Support request.
