How to update VM running on Ubuntu

Hi All,

I have an issue updateing VM running in Azure.

Its Ubuntu.

I am running yum update $$ yum upgrade and getting below error message.

Anyone can advise?

    @Patryk Koprowski

    It looks like you are getting a 404 on all of the repo URLs. There is likely something misconfigured with your repository configuration. Based on my research it appears this could be related to building docker and sources.list being cached. Can you check the first solution here to see if it resolves your issue?

    Thank You fir hit - docker, that helped a lot!

    I had a file called "docker.list" in "/etc/apt/sources.list.d".

    When I moved this file away and restarted VM, I was able to run "apt update && apt upgrade --fix-missing".

    I had to run apt 3 times are do 1 restart before I was able to process all updates.

    Once all updates where done, I moved "docker.list" back and run apt again.

    All worked as expected.
