Our application uses Azure Communication Services group calls for videoconferencing. The implementation uses Spotlight to toggle between video feeds that participants see.
As of Friday 8/16/24 (at least this is when we discovered the issue) our use of the spotlight feature no longer functions. For example, the web client gives the error: Error: Uncaught (in promise): CallingCommunicationError: Failed to spotlight. User does not have a Presenter or Organizer role.
We have not in the past assigned roles within our calls, and this has worked fine until very recently. Has something changed?
