I am trying to close a unsent email or appointment and when I do, it freezes on me and I cannot get out of it. I can't select any of the options that normally come up: to delete or save draft, etc. It just grays out and stays in that state! Please help me figure out what is happening, thank you! 48436-screen-shot-2020-12-15-at-50446-pm.png

    Hi @K B ,

Thanks for visiting Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I know, there might be several factors which could cause Outlook for Mac Freeze issue. In order to eliminate interferences from known issues, please make sure you have updated you mac OS and Outlook to the latest version.

There could be some add-ins in your Outlook that cause this issue, so it is suggested to try to temporarily disable your Outlook add-ins and restart your Outlook to test and see if the issue has any difference.

Besides, a corrupted profile can also lead this issue. So, please try creating and using a new Outlook profile and see if there is any difference.

For more information, please check this article: Outlook for Mac Not Working: Freezes or Crashes, Fix. (Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.)
