Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am writing to you in a state of deep concern and urgency. As a first-time user of Azure OpenAI, I mistakenly provisioned the GPT-4 model with the 'Provisioned-Managed' option, setting it to 100 PTU. Unfortunately, I did not realize the implications of this configuration, leading to a substantial billing charge of $10,330, as well as the complete exhaustion of my $200 trial credit within a very short period.

Please understand that this was an honest mistake made due to my inexperience. I did not use the provisioned resources at all, as I became aware of the situation only after the charges had already accrued. I am sincerely requesting your help in reversing these charges and, if possible, restoring my trial credit. This incident has caused me significant distress, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide to rectify this situation.

Thank you so much for your understanding and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Best regards, Geunyeong Jeong

GY Jeong & Jay Lee Greetings!

These kind of requests needs intervention on the backend by a support engineer.

All Azure customers have access to billing and subscription management support for free.

I would suggest you, please create an Azure Billing support request and work with the support engineer to understand the cost of the usage and share your feedback.

I hope support team will be able to assist you further and provide the needed guidance on this.

You can use the Azure pricing calculator to estimate the costs of using Azure OpenAI. More details here.

Also, please check the documentation to more about the provisioned throughputs.

Do let me know if that helps or have any other queries.
