Hello Microsoft Community,

I'm currently facing a critical issue with a Cloud Service migration in Azure, and I'm seeking urgent assistance. The problem started when I attempted to migrate a Cloud Service, and during the process, I encountered an "Internal Server Error." Since then, I've been unable to complete or rollback the migration, and the service is stuck in an unresolved state.

Details:

During the migration, an Internal Server Error occurred. The error message prompted me to retry the operation, but when I did so, it seems to have initiated the commit process twice. Now, the system is confused, and I can't proceed with any further actions. Attempts to rollback or complete the migration result in a failure.

Error Message:

"The deployment for the service 'a' in slot 'production' migration prepare failed: 'Migration of Deployment x in HostedService a is in the process of being committed and cannot be changed until it completes successfully.'"

This error has completely blocked any further management of the Cloud Service, and I am unable to resolve the issue on my own. I believe this is an issue with Azure's internal systems, and I am urgently seeking a solution.

Request:

I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance from the community or Microsoft support. As this appears to be an Azure system issue, I hope this can be addressed quickly and preferably without incurring additional support charges.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards:
Tamas

I face similar issue during my training period and the error was not resolved due to some 'xyz' reasons, but it is better to create a new project and perform it again as of now you are already paying for the service and time is ticking out it is better to save time with new project deployed in some other region for better output sometimes it happens and stay connected with the Microsoft support team because if it is not resolved then you will simply have to do the same after certain time so, I suggest to take necessary steps right away
