Can't complete login, can't get code from Authenticator App = endless loop

Hi, I bought a Microsoft Business Basic EEA package, but I can't login. I have my email and my password but when I try to complete the login it prompts me for a code from the Authenticator App. When I open the app there is no code listed. If I click try alternative login method it also requires a code from the authenticator app. I am stuck in this loop.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you figured this out? I'm having the same issue and it is infuriating. I cannot login to my work email.

I understand that you are trying to login Microsoft Admin Portal, but it is asking MFA to sign in into the portal. But you open the authenticator app code is not available.

Could you confirm if you have registered for MFA using the authenticator app with your email?

If not, registered MFA follow the below steps:

Please go through the link My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com

Click on Add Sign in method, Choose Authenticator App method in it.

It prompts with a new QR code to scan

Approve the notification that is sent to your app by entering the number

Then you will successfully register your authenticator app.

If you are already registered, please try to re-register for MFA as it will delete the existing authentication methods, allowing you to set up a new multifactor authenticator app.

When I go to security, it asks for a code from authenticator. Ugh!

Same issue and your first recommendation: Please go through the link My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com - results in the exact same issue! Can't get there b/c it wants a code from the authenticator.... NO CODE!

Hi, Prakash

I am unfortunately still having issues and none of the above worked. Each method requires me to first sign in to admin centre which I can't do as I am not getting the authenticator code. There is no other method to sign in both require me to use the authenticator app.

Is there any way to resolve this or to cancel subscription without logging into the admin centre, I am the admin but can't get in?
