Will transitioning to role-based access control (RBAC) affect my Sponsorship Credits?

Hi there, Just checking if this change will affect the Sponsorship credits or billing? We are 6 months into a Sponsorship. Just wanted to make sure that making the user/role changes didn't affect anything.

On a side note, is there a physical person in New Zealand or Australia we can contact to discuss this?

    Hi @Julian Stone

Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

I understand you want to confirm whether transitioning to role-based access control (RBAC) has any effects on sponsorship credits or billing.

Changing user roles or permissions in Azure will not affect Sponsorship credits or billing. The Sponsorship program is a separate entity that provides credits to eligible users, and the credits are not tied to specific user roles or permissions.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks,

    Navya.
