Hi i am stuck at trying to import PSTs into a Mailbox.

So i am trying to import PST files that was exported by an eDiscovery Search in the Pureview Portal.

The PST contains a normal Mailbox and an archive Mailbox.

I uploaded the PST to the Azure Cloud with azcopy. After that i valdiate my CSV mapping file that looks like this:

"Workload,FilePath,Name,Mailbox,IsArchive,TargetRootFolder,ContentCodePage,SPFileContainer,SPManifestContainer,SPSiteUrl

Exchange,,<pst-file>,<exchange-GUID>,FALSE,/ImportedPst,,,,"

I tried the Field after FALSe with /, blank and now my custom Folder but nothing works.

After the Mapping CSV gets validated the jobs continues and finishes without any error.

But the target mailbox doesnt see anything on outlook web access?

Any ideas what i am doing wrong? I thought maybe the import process doesnt like the folder hirarchie of the input PST so i tried to tinker around with it but with no luck.

And can someone tell me if there is a way how i can get more information about finished import jobs? The GUI is quite lackluster but in Powershell i couldnt figure it out....

Appreciate any help/hints/guesses

    Issue Symptom:

uploaded the PST to the Azure Cloud with azcopy , but the target mailbox doesnt see anything on outlook web access

    Resolution:

After uploading the pst using azcopy and adding the mapping file, you will also need to do the import in the M365 center row.

    turns out i am stupid.

I assumed after uploading the pst with azcopy and adding the mapping file that the import would be concluded. but i had to select my job again and press M365 import....

What was missleading my was the progress column where it said "Import completed"!
