How long will v2 of the CosmosDB .NET SDK continue to function?

I see in https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/nosql/sdk-dotnet-v2 that the .NET SDK for Cosmos will continue to function past its deprecation date but it doesn't list how long it will do so, is there any timeline for when it might cease to function?

    @Anthony Salmeron Thank you for reaching out.As stated in the doc you shared above https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/nosql/sdk-dotnet-v2.

    under the Warning section.

    On August 31, 2024 the Azure Cosmos DB .NET SDK v2.x will be retired; the SDK and all applications using the SDK will continue to function; Azure Cosmos DB will simply cease to provide further maintenance and support for this SDK. We recommend migrating to the latest version of the .NET SDK v3 SDK.

    Nothing will stop working. Customers will simply have no support, they cannot file support cases to obtain help, and they will be no security updates on V2 libraries. In case it stops working, Microsoft will either notify customers or add a note in the doc.
