- You purchased a domain through Azure App Service : Buy an App Service domain
- Now you want to use the purchased domain with Static Storage Account Site
- Is this correct?
- NOTE : App Service and Storage Account Static website are 2 different services

If my understanding is correct:
App Service Domains use GoDaddy for domain registration and Azure DNS to host the domains.
This is why you see GoDaddy as the Domain Registrar and this is expected
- This does not mean you cannot manage your records using Azure. You can very well manage such DNS Zones from Portal itself
- See : Manage custom DNS records
- From here, you should be able to add or remove or edit the DNS records.

- This only works for HTTP traffic
- For HTTPS,
