I have reset my VM password. I am able to connect via RDP but my admin account credentials are being denied.

I have reset the NIC and joined to my domain. DNS has been configured.

    Hi Ajay Singh,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

It looks like you're having trouble with admin account credentials after a password reset.
Here are a few steps you can follow to resolve the issue.

    • Double-check that you’re using the correct username and password. Ensure there are no typos and remember that passwords are case-sensitive Confirm that the password reset was applied to the correct account.
    • Sometimes the wrong account might be reset. Ensure there are no network issues or firewall restrictions affecting your RDP connection. Verify that RDP is allowed through the firewall on your VM
    • Kindly try to login with local admin on the VM. If you don't have one then try follow Reset the local administrator account password or Reset the local administrator account password via powershell.
    • If possible, try using another account with administrative privileges. Alternatively, you might need to create a new admin account using the VM management interface.
