Dear,

I would like to delete a tenant with an account that I once created and immediately wanted to remove for testing purposes. However, when I go through all the steps to delete the tenant, I still receive the message that I cannot delete the tenant because I cannot retrieve the authorization to delete Azure resources. When I open the suggested link and try to perform the suggested action, I can indicate that I, as an administrator, can obtain the necessary permissions. However, when I click on this and try to save, I am unable to do so. The issue is that I cannot save the permission change, which results in my inability to delete the tenant.

I also have a second question. Once I have successfully deleted the tenant, how do I delete the rest of the created account?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Issue:

Tenant deletion prevented by not being able to change access to all Azure subscriptions and management groups in tenant

    Solution:

Someone from Microsoft has deleted the tenant, as my tenant ID is no longer recognized when I attempt to log in.

    Hi @Navya,

    Thank you for your response.

It seems we are on the same page. When I accessed the page you shared in your screenshot and selected 'Yes,' I was unable to save the setting, which prevented me from completing the deletion.

Additionally, I can no longer log in with my tenant credentials. I assume that someone from Microsoft has deleted the tenant, as my tenant ID is no longer recognized when I attempt to log in.

    Kind regards,

    Artuur
