As my machine was in a DMZ, I was not able to copy/paste the Workspace ID and KEY.
Turns out I made a small mistake in the KEY when I typed it in. Corrected the mustake and now my Workspace KEY is valid.

Hi,
I am trying to configure the Log Analytics (OMS) on a server in our DMZ. The goal is to have this server send it collection to an OMS Gateway server which is not in the DMZ.
When I insert the Workspace ID and Workspace Key of our Log Analytics Workspace, I receive the error " Invalid Wokspace key was entered". Beleive me, I have checked the ID many times!
Is this because the server in the DMZ cannot reach the Log Anayltics Workspace? for possible verification?
I have also already configured the Proxy Server settings with the IP of the OMS Gateway; didn't help either. This may be caused by the firewalll rules in place for servers in our DMZ.
My main issue is why the Workspace ID isinvalid.
I would appreciate any help.
Regards,
David
