Add time call is initiated to Teams Call History table

If I need to look at my Teams Call history to recover some details about a particular event, I will invariably be interested in the times as much as well as the dates. On a modern screen there is an acre of space used to present only the caller, duration, and date stamp (or worse if it was less than a week ago someone thought it would be better to put the day of the week there instead of a date). I will leave that decision particular decision at 'not a fan'.

However - I have a function problem with the timestamps requiring clicking into each call separately to establish a timeline if one is needed. If there was a DateTime stamp for Call Initiated that would suffice. It shouldn't even require adding an additional column and it hardly tap into all the empty space in between the Whom and the Duration fields.

Can we please just add the times to the History screen instead of requiring all the extra work to view them?

    Hi @Pamela Drabo

    Thanks for your feedback.

When viewing call history in the Teams client, the call history panel displays the duration of the call and the date of the call. If you need to see the start time of a specific call, you need to click on the call to display it, which is by design in Teams.

If you want the start time of a call to be displayed directly on the call history panel, to get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

In addition, if you are a Teams administrator, you can view the user's call history on the Teams admin center, which directly displays the start and end times of the call.
