Hi Team, Good day!

I have AZ305 certification in Active state and AZ104 certification in Expired state.

Will I get certification and badge in this case if I clear AZ400 exam?

    Hi Anshuman,

Yes. If you clear the AZ-400 exam while holding an active AZ-305 certification and an expired AZ-104 certification, you would still earn the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, as long as your AZ-305 is valid.

The key requirement for AZ-400 is holding an active certification in either: AZ-104 or AZ-305.

You can also verify this certification prerequisite section (at least one of the following).

    Thank you.

    Hi Anshuman,

You need to have Active Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Active Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification in addition to passing AZ-400 exam. If you don't have one of those two Active certifications when you pass AZ-400 you will not receive Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

    Thanks.
