This error has been creeping in for a few days on our RDSH (via Citrix).

AppModel Runtime - EventID 4:
"0x2: Der Prozess für das Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_1000.17763.1.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy-Paket kann nicht erstellt werden, da beim Vorbereiten der App-Anmeldeinformationen ein Fehler aufgetreten ist: Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden."

Followed by

DistributedCOM - EventID 10001:
"Ein DCOM-Server konnte nicht gestartet werden: Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_1000.17763.1.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy!Windows.Security.Authentication.Web.Core.BackgroundGetTokenTask.ClassId.WebAccountProvider als Nicht verfügbar/Nicht verfügbar. Fehler: "0""

Aufgetreten beim Start dieses Befehls:

"C:\Windows\system32\BackgroundTaskHost.exe" -ServerName:BackgroundTaskHost.WebAccountProvider

The effects are similar to the known issues surrounding Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin, where deleting the cache in the package and other profile-related actions resolve the error. Unfortunately, that's not it. We're stuck with O365 Login: Error 1001 - something went wrong.

Side-effects are non-working Startmenu and other components in %localappdata%\Packages. But as mentioned before all known actions (also resetting profile) to repair this do not help.

I suspect it's a Windows update or virus scanner.

Does anyone have similar issues.
