- Check Subscription Status: Ensure that your subscription is indeed canceled. Sometimes, the cancellation process might not have been completed successfully. You can verify this by logging into the Azure Portal and checking the status of your subscription
- Contact Support: If your subscription is canceled but you are still being billed, you should contact Azure Support. You can create a support ticket through the Azure Portal Make sure to include all relevant details, such as your subscription ID and the issue you are facing.
- Review Billing Details: Sometimes, there might be residual charges for services that were used before the cancellation. Reviewing your billing details might help identify any such charges
- Check for Active Resources: Ensure that all resources associated with the subscription have been deleted. Sometimes, resources like storage accounts or backup vaults might still be active and incurring charges
There may be resources associated with the subscription that are still running. Before cancelling the subscription, make sure to stop all running resources.
There may be a delay in the cancellation process. After cancelling a subscription, it can take up to 24 hours for the cancellation to take effect.
There may be a billing issue with your account. Make sure that your account has a valid payment method and that there are no outstanding charges.
